There was a short movie with kind of this idea. Cool though. u should enlarge the design and add a human in the car

don't know about the movie but I made this as allusion on toy machines in entertainment park :) the car is a toy so no humans inside.

i feel like for a t-shirt to work with a medium-sized illustration right in the center, it has to be REALLY good. maybe the layout could be more unique?

The weight on it is a bit off-setting... You have the entire image centered... not usually an issue but, because the left side is pure vertical and the right is just tentacle, it looks really heavily left weighted.

I like the concept but it needs to be ooched over to the right a bit to really "feel" centered... probably if you center the control bars with the "hand" tentacles.

Or, alternately, make it purposely left weighted with a bottom left placement...
