I like the artwork, but am having difficulty seeing how it relates to the concept of democracy. I know it's meant to be open to interpretation - but perhaps you could offer a little hint?

I can't see the details at all. I can make out George Washington's head but other than that is their anything in this that has to do with democracy?

Yes, look ***here*** for the details.
I wanted for everyone's interpretation to be unique, but here is my concept of the piece. Democracy works when the majority wants what is best for everyone. The majority, made up of average people, are all different, thus the icons have opposites. For a gun, there is peace. It is ordered chaos because it comes together as a nice design, but is made up of many individual parts that all have their own ideas for what they should form as a whole. |
