Am I the only one that's old enough to remember Matt Groening's early cartoons? They were full of bunnies that looked much like this. Granted, not so much stubble (though that makes the bunny look a bit like Homer!). This does have a '20s and '30s animated character feel to it. And it's funny and badass obviously. But I'm having trouble shaking the Groening.

Lol, yep, that's kind of what it is, you hit the nail on the head! Homer Simpson as a burned-out magician's bunny. And in fact, I was a tad drunk when I doodled it, are you psychic? The 2 is ok because I know you secretly want this and scored it a 5$ anyway. Thanks dood! :D

Cichan, I just faded the opacity on this one, but I'm glad it looks that convincing! Actually, sometimes I find using a "multiply" layer as well as an "overlay" layer and then fiddling around with the opacity of each layer works even better for this effect. |

And sorry for being snappy. I really appreciate any comments, critical ones included. For those who mentioned life in hell, I agree, he's a very Groening-like character. I also drew stylistic cues from early cartoon characters which Harfangoria pointed out. I needed a rabbit because it was essential to the concept. Anyway, I don't deny he looks like a Simpson's character, but I think it's an original enough idea? Or I don't know, maybe not. Maybe I'll sub it in a different style at some future date because I still like the concept.

Thank you golden spatula! But you know, I've actually kind of turned on this design and don't want it to print, even if it had scored better. I still like the idea though and may re-sub in the future.
