Cuban Smoking Snails are a rare species, which is probably why you may not have heard of them, they also have quite a short life expectancy as a result of their tobacco addiction. They have been seen in the tobacco fields of Cuba, and it is thought that they became addicted to tobacco through eating the leaves of the fields, but since they have discovered how cool they look when they smoke, they have never looked back.

Not only that, but these fellers have the tendency to smoke in bed. When that happens, forget it!

i believe the snail turned to packing pipes after being done for leaving snail trails on the thighs of virgins back in '88

I think the official line the government are taking is that they use their eyes, but i am inclined to believe that they intimidate smaller, more timid creatures such as aphids to do the actual packing of the pipe.
