I love it on green, or even royal blue, even though that's not one of your choices XD I think having the design sort of blend with the shirt color makes it much stronger!

The problem with darker colours is that some of the detail in the feathers (little spiral bits) gets lost and it looks more... blob-ish. Though perhaps in a printed version it would turn out better.

I thought it looked like it was taking up too much space if it wasn't wrapping around, so I chose the side placement. It's not like you're losing too much of the design though.
