I like the design and I'd definitely wear it to a blakc light party, but I think it would look better with out the guy.

i had an art teacher who was a huge pollock fan. he did a little piece on him that got published in a desperado comic. this reminds me of it. really nice job.
what i'd like different though is if you did pollock with a bit more controled detail. to me it'd look nicer to have the contrast between tame and uncontrolled. right now he just looks a bit rushed.

Pollock used to make those splashes of color much better. I don't think is a nice tribute.

I love the idea. The colors are beyond ugly though.

Maybe a nice primary scheme, something manly that he was known for.

Love it. However I can see the points about the color scheme, but do not just do a primary scheme. Study some of his work and you'll see the colors depend on the painting itself. He had a few pieces that were primary, a lot that were earth tones, and others ran the gamut. But you definitely should keep the person in the painting.

i like the concept a lot but agree with bschmitt. and even more important than changing the colors is paying attention to his method of application. Pollock covers the entire painting evenly, in a very controlled and balanced matter.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. I'm sure we could all sit around and discuss where you missed the finer points of Pollock's work in your representation, but that would be.. um, ridiculous. And unnecessary. :)
