One time my girlfriend and I were making up silly band names and I came up with "These arms are snakes" but it turns out that actually is a band name. Scary. That actually has nothing to do with the conception of this design.

good idea, interestingly executed. But it is missing something, perhaps one more layer of illustration. It looks too regular (symmetric/static) right now for my taste, basically reads as a giant bar-code.

This design is really close. I would not use that charcoal black color. I would either make it a tonal variation from the shirt color or crazy neon colors. Also you need to supply a better detail of the image. I can't really see it very well.
