I think it's more of a Kobe Steak/Kobe Bryant reference, hence the laker's colors. Right??

Did you know that Kobe Bryant's parents named him after the Japanese kobe beef? Well it's supposed to be a pun about kobe steak and Kobe Bryant -- the piece of steak is wearing a laker's jersey with Kobe's number on it.
