About my design

by jimhorwat1977
A simple black and white design here pays tribute to a simple work of cinematic brilliance (Evil Dead I). Within this design, the Evil Dead movie plot is graphically depicted with style by Jim Horwat, a Philadelphia-based pop artist known for his work in collage/pen and ink mediums. This Tee is an adaptation of a print design of his. As with Jim's artwork, a patient eye is greatly rewarded.

Now that I've seen all three of your submissions, I'd really like to see you design a shirt that was meant all along to be a shirt. Your style is outstanding, but shirts are not prints and you need to adapt to the medium.

*My apology comes in the first person. I am new to Threadless and had a friend help me out with the first three posts. I am still getting the hang of this. I'm sorry.

Nice graphic. I would prefer it on a white shirt so it looks less boxy.

I'd love to see a larger image of this. Otherwise it looks pretty cool.

looks like an appropriate design for a card or poster but doesn't really work on a tee shirt.

This is very clever. And I agree with it being on a white shirt, and without a border.

yeah, just on a white tee or give the graphic a film negative trippy feel by printing it lime green (line art) on black
