but didn't threadless say each shade of a color counts towards the 8 color limit? I'm confused about that. I've seen alot of black and white shirts that have more than 8 shades. |

ginetteginette on Jun 29 '08 ElectroZone, you're right, and that's why i wrote 'simulated' at the end of my first comment under the design though i guess i should have fully written 'simulated process'. it's a printing method where you don't have to worry about limiting yourself to 8 pure colours.

I remember when I would take my pencil eraser and use it in my Elementary yearbooks so that it would take away the ink but leave smooth white paper. Then I would draw all kinds of animal faces on kids' faces I wasn't fond of or who I had no idea who they were. Thanks for sparking those memories back into mind. Oh how I want one of those kids to resemble laser kitty with eyes shooting out those awesome rays! |

ginetteginette on Jun 30 '08 duracell, it appears that people are just enjoying it. it's a fun design that might remind some folks of elementary/highschool hijynx and it is a more abstract concept than most of the other entries (half of which include collages of cameras) and i guess i don't understand your confusion.

I definitely don't understand why everybody likes this. I don't mean to be mean, but there's no concept ... I'm not crazy about the colors ... and I'm fairly certain you don't take yearbook pictures with Lomo cameras.

terrible design skills huh? ...hmmm I saw your website, was that crayola crayons or some off brand that you color with? Notice i never said i disliked your design, i said i yawned, as in it too was cliche' When you win the prize then i will be impressed. My full time design job and freelance business make my living, so i don't have time to color all day and enter contests, i have to throw in what i can, so next time just click to vote 1 or 0 since you hated it and save yourself this sort of issue and move on. You need a hug i think...
