At least both of your latest sexy designs made it through to voting. I like your art styles on many of your submissions. But, in a non-condescending way... I don't get it. It seems like you are pushing the envelope with oddly sexual designs, just because.

So.....wierd, but kinda cool. The smiley faces onthe poop monsters are my favorite. Without them the piece becomes very... creepy......well.....it's still kinds creepy actually...but with cool undertones.

Yes, this is challenging, but also really cool. Love the style, colours and use of negative space in this one.

Ginetteginette: I really love this design, certainly more as a print than a Tee. I really love the way you make something that can be both interpreted as really raunchy, but also as sweetly cute. This design however (in comparison to the pink bare bum), lacks that true sickly sweetness.

i'd like to see a school let you wear something like this, i REALLY doubt it could ever happen, schools have dress codes forbidding tshirts with obscense or suggestive content, pretty sure this falls in that category. personally i'm not that much of a conservative, i just have taste. had this been a shirt with tasteful nudes i wouldn't have a problem, but it's not even close

to be honest, i didn't go into photoshop thinking i'd add a brownish colour to this. they aren't meant to be poop ghosts. just ghosts - vag ghosts to be more precise. i had the forms on the same layer as the hair and so it just came to be brown though other colours might fit better?

Characteristically daring. I will certainly give you that. I have no problem whatsoever with the nude. I've drawn it many times myself. This is art. I just don't think it's art fit for wearing while walking down the street, like the art or not. Society would tear the wearer a new one. Unfortunately.

What a beautiful drawing style and sense for color. But the poop "flow" is just too much weird/gross. I wish those poop blobs were flowers, people, snakes--anything but that brown flow you have going on . . . still a 5, though.

I don't mean that in a prudish way. But having women grab each others' feet with their legs splayed apart is, artistically, a pornographic tableau. I'm just not sure you're using your obvious talents for contributing much of anything to the conversation.

What's your point of view? It can't be neutral, since you picked such a polarizing subject. So you've either implicated yourself or you're satirizing some kind of pop-culture sexuality.

In the design, I can't see the latter, so it reads like a infantilizing of female sexuality -- that is, the artist can't bear to show the sexual organs and covers them with a childish symbolic representation of the power/fear of woman's sexuality via the boogieman.

It's certainly touching a nerve, which is why you're getting so many comments, but perhaps not for all the right reasons. The work is a little too "id" -- too subconscious to be understood and, as the artist, since you're joining in the conversation about "vag ghosts" and the like, I'm not sure you know why you were drawn to this subject matter.

But you haven't mastered it. You've merely tried to cover up what drew you to the symbolic value of a naked woman -- or two, very vulnerably naked women. And that's why you're splitting comments left and right.

As I said, your talent is evident. But this design goes halfway and I'd encourage you to take more risks, not less. That doesn't mean more nudity, but rather risking to understand what you, as an artist, need to work out in a design like this.
