ABOUT MY IDEA:
I was listening to the radio one day as they were telling a story in the news about a woman who owned quite a few cats. She died apparently, no one found her for a while, and when they did, her face was almost completely gone because there wasn't anyone around to give her cats their food, and she was the closest thing to it.

Kind of creepy, but I think the slogan sounds pretty funny and goes well with a really cute kitten who just might, one day, eat your face. :)

Let me know what you think!
-Lettering can be to the side of the kitty, or underneath,
-8 colours exactly for the design & 3 colour combinations of the kitty: orange, white, & grey,
-6 different shirt colours to choose from: Gold, Orange, Pink, Grown, Dark Grey, & Light Purple.

I knew a guy who worked for animal control. He had tons of stories about mostly dogs eating their former owners once they died.
The dogs found good homes after being rescued, but nobody told about the whole gnawing their foot off thing. :)
That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this design, but you know... I still kind of like it.

wow. the kitten drawing caught my attention because it looks just like my kitten. And then I read the text. LOL. You can tell that's EXACTLY what my kitten is thinking. Hell, I'm afraid to fall asleep with my bedroom door open because I fear she'll try to eat my face while I'm sleeping. She's so adorable, but we both know it's just an act. $5.

That's RAD! I have a dog and tell all my friends that if they die in the house, my sweet pooch is going to start eating their face. No one believes me! Also, that when a dog/cat/bird/lizard/grandfather licks your face, they're not giving you kisses; they are tasting you!

reminds me too much of all those "David and Goliath" shirt designs, the whole idea of cute animal saying something violent has been done, oh so many times.

I think the idea is plenty grisly funny, but maybe have the picture a bit more refined and the lines less thick and it'll be a keeper.

They turned away, sick and faint. One man, trying in his terror to escape the awful sight, stumbled against the coffin so heavily as to knock away one of its frail supports. The coffin fell to the floor, the glass was shattered to bits by the concussion.

From the opening crawled John Mortonson's cat, which lazily leapt to the floor, sat up, tranquilly wiped its crimson muzzle with a forepaw, then walked with dignity from the room.

Thanks for all the comments guys! Actually, I DID use photoshop for this image...*hangs head in shame* lol.

I just know the basics of the program, and I wish I knew how to make the lines thinner as well, (unless I just draw them that way & scan it again), but I guess I was somewhat satisfied with the design & I really liked the idea, so I submitted it...but I do see how it could use a bit more tweaking. I felt that I couldn't really add anything else to it, because I didn't know what, or how!
I also wanted to keep it simple, but I guess it's a little TOO simple if it looks like it was made in paint, lol!

I guess I'll need to start reading some tutorials online...

I know Threadless doesn't like us re-submitting designs that we've altered or made better, but are we allowed to submit the same idea, but with a totally and completely different design? -_-

i love the idea and the slogan, but i agree you need to work on the cat a bit more, it's too childish and simple for me.
Still a 5

Thats a cool story, and I too hate cats, but nobody would understand the shirt without hearing the story.

I dont think you need to take criticism too seriously from an 18yr old with no designs :) I think the illustration is lovely, just a bit pixelated when up close. I also really like your gingerbread design!

Haha, thanks guys! And thanks welshalex, I'm glad you like my designs! :)
I mean, good AND bad criticism can be good since I'm just starting out on here, and if I don't take the bad too seriously, (which I try not to, lol).
However I am right now though, I can only get better in the future, at least you'd hope I would. ;)

Thanks again guys for all your comments and votes! :)

If you're able to smooth it out before it get's printed, I'd want this for sure.
I prefer the gray kitten, on the pink and lavender.

It's so cute! Unfortunately, I'd never wear it around my boss. He hates cats, and quotes that story all the time =(

It's funny cuz it's true. My bf and I often joke that our cats will eat us when we die. This gets a 5!
