I know everyone here shoots down text on all shirts, but in this case it doesn't bother me.
In China and Japan, owners of landscape paintings would stamp their seal or write their names on artwork when it changed hands. Other artists who did touch ups would also contribute their names. It was almost like an 17th century message board.
It's not uncommon to see an old scroll painting with stamps and text all over it, and since that actually says "Panda" and not "Peace" or some nonsense, I'm fine with it.
I don't mind the script being on the shirt, however, I think the style of the script doesn't quite match the style of the panda. The script presents itself in a very clean-cut fashion, whereas the panda is presented through brush strokes. If you're keen on keeping the script, I would suggest making the it looks similar to the panda.
i love this shirt just the way it is. i think the text adds a balance to the shirt, and that the font is just perfect too. a "clean-cut" chinese font looks nothing like this - it would be much neater, with straight lines and even strokes. the font is sort of like a kid's messy handwriting.
