WTF... Just because it's stencil looked doesn't make it banksy. He doesn't own the rights to all stencils. Unless you find the exact same stencil by Banksy, it's just an homage to his style. Nice job kooky.

I don't know what it's parodying, but I think the girl looks too rigid. Something that doesn't say "hiel" would be nicer. I love the balloons.

The balloons are awesome though.

Yeah, I've seen a bunch of Bansky replicas in my day. I even have friends with Bansky tattoos and for some reason it seems OK. Maybe because his imagery is just so damn cool and he is not looking to make a profit on his art. Much of his it is political and I feel like that in some ways he's just having a good time spreading the word.



However, if Kooky Love was not intending on people recognizing this as Banskys image and trying to claim it as his own then I would not hesitate to call him a spineless snake and as we all know, snakes without spines don't get very far.



In closing I suggest that Kooky Love posts his intent for this image ASAP

is anybody else worried that, out of context, the girl is doing the nazi salute? the banksy girl definately looks like shes reaching out for something, but your... rendition... looks like shes glorifying some odd coloured balloons, go figure.

All you little hipsters calm the fuck down. It's Banksy, and we all know it, K? This kid's obviously just paying homage.



I think we need to take into consideration what Banksy does and his philosophy. Not everything he draws is his own original art, either. He often takes something well known or familiar and uses juxtoposition to make some sort of commentary. The work he does over paintings, for example. This artist is, in a way, doing that as well.



HOWEVER



Not so sure Banksy would be into someone emulating him for the sake of hawking T-shirts.

I think the major problem is that this design wouldn't be interesting at all without the Banksy girl. It didn't take much talent to make three colored circles and use the exact same composition and idea from the Banksy. The CMYK isn't even original. Lately CMYK designs have been in abundance. There wasn't any thought put into this besides changing the style of the balloon. And I probably would've believed that this was an homage if you had said it in the About my design section. Now it just look like you completely ripped him off.

I think i always believe this quote "Great Design is trouble" and you was make it real..congratulation just keep going with your work, remember guys nothing original in this world, but each of us can create with some different. You've got my vote BRO!5

There's a fine line between parody and plagarism and I think this wobbles a little too close to the original.
