There are a few designs out there where I just wonder how they actually got through to voting...has threadless even rejected any designs for voting, or do they all go through anyway?? This design is awesome & the only issue might be the copyright thing, but I was just curious. :P Oh, & I'm giving you a $5 anyway. :) |

It's not a copyright infringement unless the design is taking
directly from a design from the show. We can make fun of the Simpson's using parody all day long on t-shirts legally. So to those who are wondering how this got through the Threadless submission process : What on the design have you seen directly on the Simpsons? The names themselves can't be copyrighted - only the way a name is depicted visually can be copyrighted and I doubt anyone has copyrighted character names from the Simpsons in a sports font. I haven't watched the Simpsons in the last few years so I ask not as if I'm an expert on the Simpsons. Maybe this design actually takes images from the show - I don't know if it does or doesn't. |

This is only a tribute to Simpson’s & Baseball (two american icons famous all over the world I really love). The logo is a personal design inspired by the episode "Dancin' Homer" (series 2 episode 5) where the only symbol was the nuclear base atom logo on a blue hat. No image has been taken from the series. You can watch episode here and decide if there’s a copyright infringement. Enjoy!!! |
