I was browsing some images and came across the classic "American Gothic" and I thought, what if they actually looked a little goth instead.

I know it's legal and stuff art appropriation after so long, but... you shoulda till hand drawn the characters yourself to better fit the shirt, and not to be so boxy

This is a really good concept, but the execution is a bit lazy.

The boxiness just screams "Iron-on Transfer".

yea, the box bothers me. Also I think using inspiration is perfectly legal and fine, but you really just didn't do enough to it to make it something original to me. The idea itself is smart, just expand on it. draw the couple yourself.

As the others have said, GREAT concept but the box ruins it on the shirt. . . maybe a bottom placement would solve this? You would have to try it and see.

hahaha the concept is HILARIOUS! I agree, if it wasn't so cut out looking it would be amazing. It looks like it wasn't designed with the purpose of going on a t-shirt. It looks like that was an afterthought.

Maybe next time.

I kinda sat on this one too long and hurried it out.

Would a picture frame around them help with the boxiness?

put a frame around it or draw the rest if their bodies with crayons.
