Also... do people realise that The Ark of The Covenant was not invented by George Lucas? It's a great concept without being a tribute to Indy.

this would be one of those shirts that sticks in your head after you see it and the true brilliance does not make itself known till you grin about it while drifting off to sleep

5$

I didn't want to say anything...really not an Indiana Jones reference, at all.

The ark doesnt look like that.
Also, without reading the title, Im not sure it's obvious this is a flea market.

A few more objects around this would be more to my liking, but really nice use of a heather gray tee, and nice homagfe actually to people finding priceless pieces of art and etc in people's garbage and yard sales.

[+duracell-], perhaps you're thinking of Noah's Ark? What do you mean the Ark doesn't look like that? This illustration is pretty accurate to the Biblical description of the Ark, unless you know any different.

Also, without reading the title, Im not sure it's obvious this is a flea market.

I love this idea and design, but I kind of have to agree with +duracell-. I don't think the concept would be very clear to someone who simply sees it on a tee...
(People will probably shoot flak my way for saying this, but)
This could be very easily ammended with -even a very small- "Sale" or "Garage Sale" sign. It would sell the shirt to me.

MZahradnicek on Jun 17 '08
Love the concept and the design. I think that there should be more junk with it however. And I think that the ark should be more buried off to the side, still very obvious but not so much the center point. As it is laid out now you kind of lose the idea that it is tossed in with a bunch of flea market hodge podge.

Kookaberry
   Kookaberry on Jun 20 '08
Is "price negot." a non-American phrase? I actually didn't think of Indy at all when I saw this. But as others have said there should be a *slightly* more conspicuous sign or perhaps the objects could be placed on tables? As it is this looks like stuff is being put out for bulk collection by the garbage man.
Kookaberry
   Kookaberry on Jun 20 '08
It's quite loverly though. I like the bicycle.
Kookaberry
   Kookaberry on Jun 20 '08
Sorry last comment. I know what "price negotiable" means, what I mean is that synonymous for "hey, we're having a garage sale"?

the "standing" items DO have price tags - look at the ark, the bicycle. the vases. the LPs. the tin behind the crate and the LPs have price stickers on them.
