I colored this in painter so has more than 8 colors and needs to be printed using simulated process.
I got inspiration for this after listening to Daydreamin' by Lupe Fiasco. (after you listen to it a few things I hope it makes more sense, lol).
I am also entering this in the Lollapalooza contest. This design is not limited to being only connected to one particular song. When I listen to music I loosen up and feel like whimsical things like this should exist. I would love to see flowers grow really tall and start dancing! Anyways this is my first entry here on Threadless so I welcome any comments on placement, colors, or what you think about Lollapalooza or this song. Thanks!

When I saw daydreamin' and the flowers I immediately thought Lupe, but I wish the design had been executed differently. This just doesn't have the same feeling as the song...

you could have easily minimized this to 7 colours though,
it just doesn't seem like a just reason to use simulated process.
i think it would actually look better with solid colours.

Thanks everyone!

GG~ Originally I tried that in photoshop, but I have a lot of trouble with shading/ fighting with the ant-aliasing.

Appreciate the comments already =)

shading is pretty tough, and i have issues with it too so i totally understand. at least you tried. when i do solid colour works i totally don't even add shadows because, well i don't know how to do them correctly in photoshop either. :s

Yeah don't feel bad, we aren't alone. I wish the tips&tricks section got more attention. There are some pretty good tutorials there.

I think the little man shouldn't be a stick figure, it doesn't fit well with the detail that you put into the flowers.
