nice idea but there is a big tangent. the birds neck is following the line of the moon. other than that it looks cool on the black and grey. 4

Well how is this related to the lollapalooza theme?? I like the print though...

Lollapalooza means "remarkable or wonderful person or thing." I tried to capture that sense of wonder you'd get staring up at the stars, trying to grab at them. I think stars are pretty kick ass, which is why I've been incorporating them into a lot of my recent subs.

ginetteginette on Jun 11 '08 i totally agree with redmage, the moon being way too close to the owl sort of kills it for me. it looks almost as though the moon is covering the bird's head which perspectively, of course, makes no sense.

Here's an example with the moon moved over. It can be moved from there if need be as well.

Woah, okay, looking at this on a PC instead of my mac and the colors are definitely off on the blue/navy shirt. If it looks a little light/more periwinkle than blue, pretend that it's darker.

Yea, the new version looks better. But i didn't get the hand was trying to grab at the stars. I thought it was waving at first. Maybe you could bend the fingers a little to really give it that grab effect, lol. Either way nice one!

Really nice first person shadow elements here...i agree, the moon could be moved over a bit, but it doesn't kill this ion the least for me, i like the shadow the owl gives off being in the moonlight.

Excellent idea, great application. I want it flushed out a bit, try removing the bird, I think those branches could be branchier, and it gives me shivers to think of how someone might walk up to me and ask what my shirt design is, and after my reply, momentarily paralyzing them, giggle like a villian.
