Maybe it would look better on a darker color, though. maybe even black? i like the way bright colors look on black but great design. only been drawing for 3 weeks???? |

When it comes to the background colors, I let my girlfriend decide. She knows a wee bit more about design than I do. And also, yessir. It's been a month now, since I wrote that comment about a week ago. I'm using India inks now, everything is new to me, I love it.

I am not a creep! I just found it strange that the title of a shirt worn by a little girl had the words "erotic fantasy" in it for no apparent reason. The title would have been much more fitting had you just left out the word erotic which doesn't seem like it belongs there at all.

Picklebib! Hello! To be honest, that was the title I gave the jpeg when I scanned it, and Ginette did the presentation separately. It just kindof came together unfortunately.

Geez people! The words aren't even printed on the shirt! Did anyone ever think that the girl might not even know the name of the shirt when she tried it on? It's not a mentally scarring image at all. Nice job stefakn. I like it as a print more than a shirt though

An animal getting struck by lightning is cool. I would buy this. The illustration seems quickly done, which I think adds to the appeal. Uncontrived and spontaneous.

I didn't notice the title, and only noticed the weird little girl model for a brief moment . . . then I was struck by how simply ugly the colors are. As far as composition, the lightning bolt is just too big. The drawing style I am not too sure about, either. Too much "evenness" throughout, like the hatch/pen marks are all the same distance apart, making for very little contrast so it's sort of "blah" to me. Keep trying!

rcaldwell70, while I can't contradict you about most parts of your comment, you seem to have two misconceptions:
1. the colors are awesome 2. not a single pair of the penmarks are the same distance apart. honestly, they're barely more than scribbles. I can't draw evenly-spaced lines with a ruler. I simply don't have the patience. You're critiquing what I tried to do. This confuses me profoundly. |

haha...when I first saw this I was like "yea, you can draw, but so what? so can lots of people. wheres the spunk and attitude that I need in a design so it'll be screaming on my chest (so to speak)?" but then I read your quips to those that have criticized your shirt..and laffed out loud. stefakn, you are clever and rather funny. if that were to come through in your shirt design, I'd buy it in a heartbeat..however..this one doesn't quie do it for me.

i have to say the title and child did bother me a little bit but than i got over it.. and i dont think your lines are perfectly even apart.. i thinkr realdwell needs glasses.. nothing wrong with that i like the handdrawn look .. i wouldnt wear it on a tshirt but i like it and i had fun reading all your comments ya racist pedo :P
