About my design
by dvl
I love to play guitar and like to come up with design ideas for the musicians out there. Designed in Poser with a little help from my old friend Photoshop for the postwork. All comments are welcome. I am new to this site and will keep plugin away at designs.

Pretty fun design.. I think the color choices need some work tho, try a more cohesive color palette.. in other words, limit your color palette. Keep it to about 3 or so colors with tonal variations of each for parts such as the wings. And the colors don't all need to be naturalistic... you could go a little more wild in order to have a dynamically colored shirt that will draw attention. There is nothing wrong with purple wings!

Also it feels a little overly busy with all the different notes and their layout... You have three seperate lines of notes in three different visual styles there, which would signify three different songs or instrumental voices, at least as I am reading them. That wouldn't be how you would see actual songs on paper of hear them, right?
Limit the notes to being on one line or at least in one visual style.

Pretty fun, tho... mess around with some of the design elements and see where it takes you!

I'm sorry dude, but the colors on the bottom of this shirt range from bad choice to blind-inducing. Not a bad design, but colors and linework need to be mixed and matched accordingly.
