I like the drawings but what's so bad about being an invertebrate that you have to call them honorary vertebrates? (Invertebrates are my friends). Wordage is very confusing.

Also they have a closed circulatory system with oxygenated blood so why are they blue blooded? Just asking because you seem to be a fan of class cephalopoda.

They have blue blood because their blood contains a lot of copper in the plasma. And I read somewhere that in brtain octopuses, due to their high level of intelligence for non-vertebrates, are considered honorary vertebrates and must be treated thusly under the law.

So it's not degrading non-vertebrates, it's just lauding the uniqueness and intelligence of the octopus.

shanelevi, "octopi" IS a word. "Octopuses" is also a word. Either can be used to express the plural of "octopus".
