I kinda wish it was dissolving into butterflies. As in that's where butterflies come from.

I think they should either be flies and maggots to make it totally horrible or have the unicorn dissolving into butterflies, as MZahradnicek suggested.
At the moment it looks like the butterflies are eating the carcas like a swarm of flies. |
