The blood spatter makes this tee.. if it wasn't there I wouldn't love it so much. It screams, I just ate your parents kid.. and maybe i'll take you home and adopt you instead of eating you too *HAHAHA* And that blank kid stare is well captured, my kid dole's that look out all the time to try and get out of things *laugh* |

The blood is not so good. I don't see it contributing to the design at all.
It just looks like a stamp on top of a very good illustration. |

i like the illustration but not the concept.....it's too "polar bears kill innocent children". i LOVE the girl in this picture though. i think if you gave the polar bear a similar expression to the girl (mouth closed, brow up) it would be fantastic....great display of line work though

I don't think this is "polar bear kills children" at all. If anything, the child's repsonse to the bear let's you know that he's not going to harm her. And it needs the spatter, whether it's blood or ink, it really lends to the picture. I think without that little piece of "design element", it would just be a picture of a bear and a little girl...not something I would want on a shirt. In a sketch book or framed, yes--tee? NO. Keep the spatter.

The point of the blood spatter is to make the hippies squeamish, and form these comments, it looks like it's working. If anything, it needs MORE blood - blood dripping form the polar bear's snout and fangs, pouring off the little girl in rivulets, staining the background crimson! MORE BLOOD! HHA HAA HAAA!
No, I'm kidding. I love it the way it is. My only hope is, as with every other white shirt that I love and rate, is that it does not end up on a white or other light color shirt cause I don't buy light colors. Bad match with my skin tone and bad for keeping coffee and barbecue sauce stains off of them. Salud! |
