About my design
by gran3
This year we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the human rights !
All 30 of the human rights are present in this design, freedom of speach, medical health, .... they are all there, and visualised in a simple, easy to understand style.

I hope u like it

I don't know about easy to understand, but I am still giving it a 5!

Here's the thing - you want this to be a shirt people will look at and immediately know what it means. The idea is a good one, but it needs to be made easier to understand immediately.

i agree with phoebeP. tee messages should be understood by the time a person sees the design. anyways, great design! $4

Art work is cool but I also agree with sugah and phoebe where the msg is hard to read. GJ

thanks for the comments,

I tried to make the different rights as simple as possible.
for instance : everyone has the right to be protected by the law book.
so I drew a figure holding a book over his head.

so it might be hard to see all the rights immediately, but if u know them u will find them back with no problem, I hope

somedevi1-
"Article 25: 1. Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control."

But in America we have somehow since Nixon, made health care a product to buy.

As for your tee, I'm a little confused looking at it. the guy with the book(not over his head) It's titled "Wet __" what's the title?
I think this looks cool form far away and it's interesting in a abstract way but most the images I can't make out. Still a high 4

cool design...

the book is titled 'wet boek' it means law book in dutch.

but I've already changed it into 'law book' couse english is more universal. so if it's chosen for print it will be law book.

thanks for the comments !

love the concept. i think it'll look amazing on a black tee with the image in white. :]

veeveeaan on Jun 07 '08
oh, and i suppose.. to make the message more clear, you can have simple lettering at the back of the shirt saying "human rights 60th anniversary" or something like that. so it doesn't ruin the image but can still give off a clear message.. if that's what you're aiming for. just a suggestion.

it's good, but the flow is killed by the boxy appeal.

I really like it, it's awesome.
The images are really great too.
I'd really love this, though, as a repeating all-over print, black on white.
But still $5. (:
