About my design
by Aweb1492
Working with manufacturing in China is never a dull moment. Sometimes you are pleased….while other times all one can do is shake their head. So my wit created this little friendly pun to relieve some humorous frustrations with my production colleagues in China. Love it or hate it…….it is funny………check out crash test videos on the web of cars designed and built in china…..shocking…reverse engineering does not always work out.

I know this is bound to offend someone…….but if it is any consultation the Chinese factory friends I have think it is hilarious. (plus my Chinese girlfriend did not make me sleep on the couch for this one.

I think after the toothpaste poisoning "incident" we're all a little wary of their products anyhow.

lol v1ctorya i love the lost comment!! On the shirt, its a cute idea - especially with all the lead in the toys nowadays, but I would never wear it out in fear of offending people.

Just drop the "Made in China" thing, I would wear it just because its a crashing plane. Add some fire!

the only reason I wouldn't wear it as a T is because my town is full of overly sensitive people, but don't get rid of the made in china thing, that's what makes it what it is

I have enjoyed reading all the comments...this has drawn the exact responses I wanted it to.

NateT is defiantly feeling the pun…..I lub my fellow Chinese designers and engineers….just have to give them some tough love sometimes. I will take all the overly offended people with me on my next trip to china to better explain my light hearted humor. Heck I might even have a garment factory I am friends with print it for me in china…word!!

yeah, put Ford on that thing, it's not Chinas fault we request the cheapest shit know to man for bulk buying at your local Walmart.

I wouldn't fault the actual workers for the general shoddiness of Chinese goods, but certainly the factory managers, the local officials, and the kleptocracy called the PRC all deserve ridicule, so I $5 this even though I'm sure Threadless won't touch this one with a ten-foot pole.
