i love it and would buy it if it had a little more randomness around the edges, like some random tentacles and etc. reaching out further than the rest of the design.

I dig it. I agree that the sides are a bit too structured for where you have it placed. Maybe move the whole design down to the lower left corner. or balance the design by adding some more elements to the bottom.
Couple tweaks and I'd buy one. |
