I think that there's maybe a bit of a quick transition between that pixie-wing shape and the butterfly shape at the top. The circle-diamond pattern at the bottom changes so gradually that it doesn't look right to me when the butterfly wings come in; maybe there should be another row where the wings look more like butterfly wings?
I still love the desgin, and i think the purple looks best. Great artwork! |

i agree with loudsound, this would look even better if purple faded to teal (or the other way around). i'm a big fan of those two colors together.
and I also agree that maybe the last row before the butterfly-esque wings should be more butterflyish |

empiricist on Jun 03 '08 Escher would be proud of you! I really like how the geometric shapes on the bottom seem a lot heavier then the top row of butterflies. I wish you used a dark shirt and lighter print, but overall I think it looks great on the shirt :)

Aside from that M.C. Escher had this style locked down years ago.
