 my latest design, sayonara sundays, is about day dreaming, zoning out, and letting your mind and eyes wander. the three characters represent the primary colors of light (red, blue, and green) and we're based on a bizzare combination of stress release toys, super deformed and uber cute characters, and Tokusatsu costuming. the background is just hypnotic optical designs. the design could be printed two ways by my count, the first, as shown on the design, is using metallic clear to obtain more tones. Alternately, simulated process could be used. thanks to everyone who helped out in critiques.

FRICKINAWESOME on May 31 '08 I like the pattern lots on this one and your placement as well. I wish the red one was slightly off the ground where the green dude is and have the red one much higher in the air to balance out the design a bit. Overall, nice work.

I think the little guys look somewhat similar to 3 out of 5 of the Beijing 2008 mascots, especially with these colors...
