About my design

by minus zero
This design was partly inspired by hindu mythology, in which the earth is supported by a giant turtle. In the spirit of the summer and wonderful things, i've added a cosmic baby to the balance. It often feels like our world is in playful hands at this time of year.

I really like this but I think it would be better without the rocket and dirty smoke, leaving all the pretty natural elements. Great illustration style!

In some Native American mythologies, the world is on the back of a giant turtle also.

I like the smoke and rocket. It's a nice contrast because science (leaving the earth to take pictures) proved that the earth really was hanging upon nothing...and mythology (in it's various sorts with the various stories ) is WRONG. I say HIGH-5.

I like it. The shuttle and the smoke are a little to much and take a way from the natural plant things and the kid.

Thanks for the comments everybody.

It's funny that so many people are seeing Elton John, because that was definitely not my intention. The hair color could probably use a change, but I'm sticking by the sunglasses.

This is really trippy. My first thought was a message about environmental consciousness and the little guy has to save the world himself...on a flying turtle! A refreshing change from the BustedTees-like shirts.

yes,

the conflicted masala of references makes me a believer too!

I don't even wear tee shirts but I want to teach in this one.

5 plus [for the revelatory explanations]
