Ha ha ha ha! This is some funny s#@t from an Aussie perspective! The roo is well executed, and the sketchiness of Uluru is a good technique to set it in the background. Pity that there is a luxury resort right about where the roo-riding cowboy is... Now I'm tired from lassooing crocs on my roo, so I'm gonna head to the pub for a coldie with my cobbers.

WanderingBert on May 22 '08 Thanks everyone! I thought about having a boomerang, but considering it was traditionally an Aboriginal hunting tool I thought it idn't quite fit. Having said that, I could always add in a boomerang and put it in a holster on his belt if anything came of this design.

Funny concept. I love the rough scribbles next to the smooth lines, very unique style. Great choice of earthy colors and rugged textures to help support and convey the outback experience. $5
Octadecapus should have scored way higher than it did. However, it's too much fun and only one color, so I'm predicting a print. |

I agree with Tine, stick with the lasso - he's a cowboy! If he was all Aussie he'd be a Jackaroo & you'd have to change the name.

i like uluru but not convinced by your kangaroo. the face seems more dingo than skippy, who is kind of too big for my liking. the idea has legs though.
