Nice idea, but I think the lines could be a little cleaner and possibly in a colour - a dark brown or orange.

Lemmings, courtesy of Wikipedia. One of the classics of the early 90s. :)

The line colour on everything but the maroon is a brown. That's actually a dark evergreen on the maroon since black or brown would make it even harder to see.
