Designing with 8 colors or less is harder than it seems. That was a challenge for me, but even still I am happy with what I created.

My idea for this design was a mermaid in your pocket and I think that idea was well expressed. A few notes:

The gray color I want to be "Luminescent Silver Foil".
There is a gradient on the pocket and around the mermaid to give the feel that she is resting against your chest.

I feel these were necessary to give the image depth and a little flair.

it was hard for you to design with less than 8 colors?? i think you should be more worried about proportion. i concur.. with stan "generic andy warhol photo" gable , this is blah.

Isn't the head and the tail WAAAY different proportions? Or is it just not seeing the middle part that's throwing me off?

Rework the mermaid drawing itself to make it more interesting, and I agree with the proportions critique. Maybe ditch the pocket idea altogether...

Pedroiscool, I love the pocket and tail of the mermaid; the top part of her doesn't seem to match the design of the tail. I think a rework is in order; my daughter would LOVE this shirt.

Yea the tail is HUGE. Im not into the whole pocket design thing.
