I kinda like the bloody image, too. I like the intense blue eyes of the wolf. I think it needs some red somewhere in the image. Maybe a ripped up red hood hanging from a branch in the background???

I actually like the non-bloody, but agree that a single red hood or scrap of cloth would add a lot of punch. Still, I think this is beautifully done, love the intensity of the wolf's eyes and the style overall!

I really like the concept of the basket as a stand in for the overused title character. It makes you think and then makes you smile when you get it. The blood adds another clue to her absence, but doesn't diminish the fun of solving the puzzle. Great idea, great rendering. $5
