i like it, but the one dot that's larger than the rest really throws it off.

they have a shirt like this but a ladybug is painting them on....and it looks better

I agree with neonlove. And also that there's that one between the other four... I like the fact that they're not all perfect (rough edges or whatever) but these two draw your eye away from the design as a whole.
And I don't really get the lederhosen. First of all, polka's actually Czech (while lederhosen are Germanic), and second, I think it's a bit of a stretch. And the mug of beer would be better as a can of paint, I think. I would just change the men into maybe white painting jumpsuits or something similar.
I really like the concept though, and the overall execution. I'd love to see it resubmitted with a few changes.

It's actually a way different idea especially since the folks painting the dots are polka people! Maybe with bigger dots and just one person on the back and front with some ladders from the bottom painting them on? Nice one.

I think it would be better if all of the dots were imperfect.

but the mug of beer makes sense. that's why the dots don't all look alike.. they've been drinking.

i actually like the fact that the two dots everyone is talking about are so different, they keep your eyes busy and therefore look at your artwork longer which then achieves your goal of designing it in the first place. Good job!

if it was an adverstisement meant to make someone look at all costs....then sure the giant dot is ok...

but no. it's a hideous scar on an otherwise pretty awesome design.

1. What's with the larget dot?
2. Wouldn't it be better to have evenly spaced/sized dots to simulate an old-fashioned pattern?
3. Why are they dressed like that?
4. How did the firt guy got to make a perfect circle without a brush while hodling a mug?

the two larger dots didn't catch my eye until i read the first comment that mentioned them..
but maybe that's because it's 3am?

The only dot that bothers me a bit is the one in the middle of the four. I like that the dots are not all perfect, but they should still all be in the right spot.

I don't think the "Lederhosen" are a problem.
So polka is "technically" Czech but it originated in Bohemia when it was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. So I don't think people back then considered it to be Czech per se.
Many people in Austria, Germany, The Czech Republic and other countries in central Europe would consider the Polka as part of their own culture. Also Lederhosen are not just German...
But the polka dot pattern has actually not much to do with the dance anyway, it originated in Britain.

I would like if the dots filled more of the space of the tee.

Funny concept though...

i originally had the guys in regular painters suits and had the dots clean and perfectly aligned. i thought it was a little better this way because of the play on words with polka dots and polka music, and the fact that they have been drinking and are messing up the pattern. i had no idea the big dot would be so confusing

I like all the differently executed dots, and think this is substantially different from the ladybug shirt.

The comment about the ladybug design was unnecessary. This couldn't be more imaginative. :)

I could never wear it, but 5, definitely.
