I kind of agree with frickinawesome... just find the fencer looking not so great...

I'd also like to see the text written by hand.. or at least a font that looks more handwritten... cool idea, though. 3, because I don't like the overall result :)

if the illustration was better: i.e. line weighting, consistent aesthetic (some shapes are sharp and straight, others bumpy)...etc...then I could see this doing well

The Avant Garde logo is trademarked. You're stealing from Herb Lubalin. And the design is mediocre.

Marwood: get a life. I'd like to reach through the screen and slap you. Anybody with half a brain cell would be able to see that I'm not trying to pass off the Avant Garde logo as my own, dipshit. My idea is the juxtaposition of that logo with a fencer, commenting on the similarities between the phrases "En garde" and "Avant Garde." Don't try to talk down to me, douchebag.
