Is the black part an ocean? it would be nice to have a little empty rowboat at the bottom of the stairs. I really like this design, especially with the text.

i'd prefer to be amused by the illustration without the bubbles with text. It's a perfectly nice illustration that doesnt require the rest.

Hmmm yeah. Design felt a bit unbalanced without speech bubbles to me, but I knew adding them was a bit of a risk, as 'loose the text' is an often heard mantra on threadless.

I'm not sure if rehashing this design without text, with rowing boat (good idea) + bigger and warping blob of houses (great idea) is worth the effort though?

(Brain hurting colours are entirely intentional, though)
