 The piece is about one of those nights where you saw some things that you never thought you would have seen and you wake up the sun in a dream or in reality seeing the sun rise for the next day always seems like an awakening in my mind.

why sure you can use photos. I would make them black and white tho. It isn't hard to make a photo a halftone and transfer it to a screen easily.
