I love the idea for this and the drawing is unique and cute, i just wish there was a bit more intensity in the person being saved from the river.

Thanks FA. I know what you mean but the bathos here is actually intentional - I wanted the scene to look kind of stilted. I thought I would get more humour by making the scenario he is being saved from as 'non dangerous' looking as possible - hence his lack of emotion.

Nice twist on the well known. Great detail and texture. I don't like black shirts but I know it would look just as great on navy and dark grey.
