Best shirt i've seen on here so far.

I would add motion marks to flailing feet of the shapes already in-place though. This will add a little more urgency, distress, and irony to the situation, and also contrast to the calmness of the dialogue in the forefront.

i think the shapes that dont fit in should look a little bit more nerdy glasses and acne or something boss tho like

I agree with samul and i don't think it needs the text or the second piece, just one piece that doesn't fit in and maybe all the hole stopped up already. Oh man, i love the way the feet of the other ones stick straight out!

Change from white to color, and typing should be hand-scripted

I chose to use two pieces, the square and the triangle, as if you look closely, the block that they want to fit into is made up of a square and a triangle...so therefore they will have to sortof sit on each other to fit haha.

Yeah I made this submission without knowing that the majority of threadless hate white :)

makes me smile....I'd like to see a sequel to this shirt, or maybe a back that shows what happens to the two shapes...

I really like the idea, a bit more thought on the composition of the characters and the puzzle in the back ground so they connect and there perspective is better would make it better. 3

I love it! But for the two shapes that already fit in, I think they work better with just one handle. I think the last time I saw one of those kinds of toys, they only had one handle anyways.

But other than that, I'm a fan!

Ahh. Interesting and clever, but if the theme is the awkwardness or uncertainty of intimacy, I think it could be refined. The top image alone, with maybe one block (as has been suggested) already implies a strong theme of social failure that clicks immediately. The extra block and the text forces the viewer to change direction from their initial vibe, which was more powerful anyway.

For me at least, you have 2 designs here. Draw a line around the top section and one of the bottom blocks and you have one. Draw a line around both bottom blocks and the one empty space and you have the other one.

If you want to go the intimacy direction, I think it's OK, even good, that you do have to think about the geometry for a second, but the top image is kind of a red herring in that case.

The fact that I sat here and thought about it this long tells me you have a really solid concept here, I just think you need to narrow things down. Also, I think this particular image should work/would work best with less/no text.

My 2 cents. :)

I like this.. I honestly don't think this shirt could be on any other colored shirt.

Maybe..maybe navy, or grey?

I love it - I think it is really clever - and if you keep thinking about it, it has more and more meaning.

First of all you see that the shapes don't fit in - yeah I know that feeling. Then you see that if they unite (won't go there because that could have another message) they can belong. And deeper it might be suggesting that people compliment each other and by combining resources, efforts etc, i.e. working together they can belong.

I love the childish simplicity of the design - I think it is a great understatement.

You can take it at each level and have a laugh.

I think it is perfect. I would be one of the first to buy it.
