This is a great idea, but it would be 100 times stronger if (like sheep) everyone was following the same fashion, and the black sheep, so to speak, would be wearing last year's pattern. You're on the right track.

i disagree, pixtoons. i actually like that the rest of them are all wearing something crazy. it makes it seem so arbitrary to single out the one "black sheep" which, in reality, it is.

I love sheep. I like that you make them all different as opposed to the traditional idea of sheep all being the same. Very cute.

Personally, i think it would be funny to have the black sheep making the comment. 1. its funny because it is the black sheep and 2. IMHO designers tend to wear a lot of black and tend to be the ones that know what is last season.

I think I'd prefer if "It's so last season" was being said to a plain, normal coloured sheep, by a patterened sheep... that way it would be making a larger jab at genetic engineering. I could be wrong though. Very cute though.
