I'm not sure what people will say about this... I live in Africa and this is my way of expressing my distaste for the sh*t that's going down here right now... It's all money, power, lack there of, greed and fear.

i think your other stuff has a lot more personality.

especially for something that has a concept like this behind it, i'd excpect a bit more feeling. the design just doesn't seem heartfelt because it's just all clipart, and this makes it look like every other submission here and i don't think your message (which is a worthy one) has any chance of getting across.

Yes its different to the other stuff, but its just a different style...

it's certainly sell-able but not on threadless i'd think. have you seen what they've been printing recently? only their very first dozen or so shirts had this style and that was when they were first starting out - it's a dated look. threadless has gone a lot more illustrative as of late especially, and whether or not you actually made it the fact remains that it 'looks' like clipart. maybe if you had actually used real spray cans on your stencils and scanned them in it would have given it a more personal touch (and even if you did do that there's no remnants of it. the nice thing about stencils to me are those imperfections where the stencil slips a bit or the paint drips)

i agree with ginette it's a dated look. you can get shirts like these at target. i don't really see your message in this shirt. if i saw someone wearing this i would think stupid internet teenager especially with the WTF. i don't think WTF properly describes the shit that's going down in africa.

I like it too. This looks like the kinds of shirts that I've actually bought from Threadless. Some of the recent ones have just been crap. Great shirt. $5.

Mixed reports - Thanks for the comments thus far... Pity that "jpeacockdesign" mouths off without actually ever having been to Africa - The guy does nice work. Thanks to tacohead, laser, music13 and NateT - I'll be back with another later. Really threw this one in to see what people would think - my other work (which is a lot different) gave different results.
