I wasn't familiar with the other print. I actually did keyword searches at Threadless in hope to not do a similar theme. Didn't see anything similar, but I guess the title was so different than "hunting", probably explains it. I still think my design has a different edge with the family and plot...

I did use the keyword search and I did look at t-shirts on Threadless. Through keyword relevance, I would have never found the other design, since the title is "Aesthetic Truculency". And there is no way to check based on similar visuals or shapes.
This wasn't an easy illustration... oh well. Thanks for the comments and feedback. |

There are other places you can, and should sub this to. A lot of work has gone into it, I'm sure. It's a great piece, and I'm also fairly sure Threadless won't print it because it is so similar to the other design which I own and adore, but I would happily buy this as well from one of "those other places". I very much like the familiarity of the faces on the wall, and the doe portrait. :)

T-shirt colors in olive/army green or sand.
The story is a bit self-explanatory... but an added detail is that the human hunter was warned by the deer, don't shoot us. The hunter obsessed with filling his trophy wall, ends up shooting the deer's wife. The male deer furiously revenges... massacring all but the family's dog :)
I hope you like the design.
