i like the other blood butterfly one better the figures in this one are drawn poorly

I think the concept behind this one is much better than the
concept behind Flowers In the Attic, but I'm still debating in my mind if the cartoon style weakens the power behind it when compared to a style that portrays the figures in a more realistic manner. Since the answer to the my mental debate stays hidden, then I think the cartoon style works just fine. |

Thanks for all the feedback. =) Yeah, someone told me after I had completed this design that there was another butterfly/blood t-shirt.....nuts! I thought my design and concept was different enough though to still enter it into the running.

Yeah It is a reversal but reminds me so much of nancy sinatra. I love that song. I love this shirt. hooray. |

FRICKINAWESOME on Apr 26 '08 Really awesome idea if you swapped the blood-hearts into something other than butterflies...i love flowers in the attic and i also really enjoy this completely different sub as well....re-submit without the butterfly blood and it's a winner.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I originally had the boy being shot through the head and flowers being blown out the back of his head....but sort of thought this might be a bit violent for everyone's taste. Thought having him shot through the heart, with the hearts merging and flying away was a bit nicer. Hmmm...maybe it needs a re-submit without the hearts joining?

Can you draw a the cowboy's back leg being back behind him, as though he's staggering backwards? I just realized that that's what I think would really improve the design.

Haha....the missing noses are just part of the illustration style....but I can see the no noses are perhaps holding the image back. =) Noses are overrated really anyway....I mean you can breath out of your mouth, so the nose really has no purpose. I just cut out the middle man.
