The moon read " the old man and the sea" and dreamt of Santiago...that he escaped all his tribulations and fished to his heart's desire!

I think the drawing has potential for sure. I am having a hard time finding a central focus. Perhaps remove the face on the moon may clean things up a bit.

love it! couple comments/questions though: how does the horizontal line resolve? maybe it could fade out a few inches from the edge of the shirt. also, the fisherman's feet look rather feminine. they need to be a tad bigger and more angular/less curvy.

I don't think it's too busy. It certainly doesn't come across as cluttered from a distance and I think all the details make it interesting. It looks especially cool on black. Also, on black the horizontal line takes care of itself.
