Like an ambigram, but slightly different.

It says "right side up" when your standing normally, and "up side down" when your standing on your head.

It can go on any color shirt with any color ink, but I stayed with black and white for now. Hope you like it.

i adore ambigrams. angels and demons cursed me with an odd ambigram obsession.

ive been doing ambigrams for a couple of years, and im about to submit one ive had for a while.
This is a really hard word combo to do, but you have done a really great job.
The only critique i have is that the "w" in "down" needs help and the stem on the "h" too.

I love those things. I same thing as anchoviebitch. I love that book and its ambigrams.

I see what you mean with the "h" and the "w." It's pretty hard to get that though, i think next time i make one of these, i might spend a bit more time. still good though right?

tell your friends.

I'd like this as a sticker or something, but I'm not sure about a shirt. I'm hardly ever up-side down.

Still really cool.

I my opinion, the 'd' really doesn't fit in with the rest of the lettering.

Interesting idea, but I agree with Framzilla. The 'd' doesn't fit. Also, 'down' isn't legible at all to me. Even when upside down, I'm reading 'right' instead of down.

too hard to read

It's really cool. BUT. I wouldn't know about the upside-down thing. Maybe this defeats your purpose, but I think it still works:

What if it's on its side? Instead of broad, straight down the center like where buttons are placed on shirts. Then I'd totally buy it.

"Right side up" is okay, but "Upside down" is hard to read, especially since I believe the correct spelling is "upside" not "up side". Also, how many times will someone be upside down, much less long enough for someone to figure out that it says that. I don't see the value in having to show off your shirt on a table to someone so they get it. The idea is cool, and you should develop it further---maybe a version that works left-to-right.

i like it. i also hate that people get hung up too much on instant legibility and i like type that makes me work a little harder. sure, some of the forms could be cleaner (there are a couple of odd curves in there) but the characters are all working pretty well, and the 'd' is fine in context of the other words.

nice job - 4
