It may be over used, but I'm sure they didn't take the idea from the other submissions. It may just be, since the song is a "stay in your head" type of thing, that they all just had the same thing in their heads.

ginetteginette on Apr 23 '08 yeah i didn't mean to say plagiarism, or else i would have completely spelled it out. just a fyi that it's been done before, and better because there's a more illustrative element in the two i've shown. there was a lot more you could have done with the idea

I had a typography class that used this line, it's really common.

For a typographical joke, the typography takes backseat in the design. For one, it's badly kerned. Also, call me simple, but if you shot the serif, shouldn't you be using a sans?

somebody should do an em and en dash shirt.... that's really far out there. Challenge to the daring. |
