Doesn't look like him, but I think it's supposed to be Obama first black president. If that is the concept you need to make it more clear that it is him. Besides that the style is nice. Also I see that you are trying to make the faces of the crew in the shadows, but right now a few of them just look faceless.

Omg leave politics out of threadless. ObomBa doesn't stand for what the forefathers stood for. For one he supported the patriotic act twice and pushes for banning handguns. Totally goes against the constitution. Not to mention he wants to bomb Pakistan. Hes a terrible candidate.

obama sucks because he uses double standards when it comes to race.
everytime he's asked about foreign policy he replies "i didn't vote to authorize the war in iraq" no matter what the question is.
he has one of the most (if not the most) liberal voting records in all the senate.
he associates with hate-mongers.
he is an elitist.
he doesn't understand how the tax system works.

Robert Colescott did something like this in the 1970's, but not really like this at all. His was more a parody of the way af. am. have been represented in our culture rather than an outright political statement...anyway, I think its interesting.

Yours is a great illustration, but i think the concept isn't quite strong enough to merit this getting printed.

I have to admit I didn't think this through 100%......thanks for all the comments and points of view(although some pretty harsh in terms of disliking him) I like Obama, but I'm glad we have the freedom to debate this in the open:)

Love the design, and I don't find anything in it that automatically suggests it supports Obama. In fact it's kind of ambiguous - he's shown as a military man which I guess looks like support for him if you like that kind of thing, or criticism of him if you don't.
