Wow, I like the way you did this! Very cool. I sort of wish the falling letter had a little dotted trail showing how it's fluttering down.

I enjoy this as well in a "very much so" manner....I like the idea of the dotted line and possible a slight dotted shadowing of where the fallen letters used to be to make it a bit more immediately readable. Still, such a great idea and really like the childish coloring on it!
