the cute little bluebird of happiness and the conspiracy theory message are very incongruous, but in a good way. I'd buy it.
Yessss. This cracks me up because it's great for the believers AND non-believers. super cute, works great for a tee, funny, unisex appeal, this shirt has everything. $5!!!! :D :D :D
I really like it, but it's a big risk. No doubt though that I think it's great. I would like it more in poster form.
Or perhaps "Sadam had weapons of mass destruction!"
Don't know why else they would have assumed that. |
What cracks me up the most is that you put a link to a detail view. I mean it's not exactly intensely intricate line work here. Funny. That bird is adorable, I'd rather he told me than anybody else.
I agree that "Sadam had weapons of mass destruction!" might be a better choice, and not quite as controversial.
If i were to submit this i would of gotten my ass reamed out by everyone!!!and my design would have been probably dropped!! oh the power of the alumni shield!!
projekct-- its the power of a good sense of humor, to be able to say bad things lightly. not quite easy
i like how this shirt separates the tpe people that i dislike from the people that i like on this site
and you andyg are peoples i like. |
I like the idea of this tee, but i'd never wear it cause i think that birdie is speaking hogwash! I agree, this shoulda been your select so Threadless would have NO CHOICE but to print it.
Well... yeah, the bird is cute, but that's not enough to sell me on a shirt that'll convince everyone I meet that I'm a total whack-job...
would everyone think this was just as cool if the bird assumed something equally as foolish such as the holocaust never happening? in other words, does a strong design make up for a weak thesis?
Love it. If you haven't already, watch Zeitgeist. You can view it on google video. Really interesting about the 9/11 stuff.
5$ from me! |
why is it OK for us to joke about other countries conspiracies and revolutionaries but it's not OK for the states? FREEDOM OF SPEECH & ideas! Woooooo!
eh. i think its pretty clever. but i think some people might be heavily offended. just my opinion.
ladrones i consider myself a conservative and i wholeheartedly agree. |
That bird is just too darn cute, i like the way its looking at me... is it saying something controversial? I wouldn't know.. i can't get past its eyes.
Nice design, and would be nice for people who are into this kind of stuff. I'd give you a 5, but a no "buy it" for safety reasons.
The cartoon bird is tongue-in-cheek but the sentiment certainly is not. I wish it was saying something like "The moon landing was fake" or "freemasons run the country". 9/11 is too close for comfort.
it a brave move there i like and am an offensive kind of person but i could not wear it it would be like going to St John's wearing a cancer rocks shirt funny but below belt to some
most don't equate critical thinking and assessing our 'elected leaders' as 'american'.
it's just a conditioning. it can change. |
this probably cant/wont print.
but at least mr.g made 2,000 or so people think a little bit. more than most people can say about their cartoons |
well, it's wonderfully illustrated for sure, but wooooo, that would make for a heck of a conversation starter!
Yeah, I'm happy this one broke '2' since you know most of the people on here with IQs in double digits voted '0'.
